I feel incredibly fortunate to have the Canadian Rockies in my backyard, as I am able to capture 80% of my wedding photography in this breathtaking location. I have had the pleasure of meeting wonderful couples from all over the world and have shot weddings in a variety of locations, from meadows to castle ballrooms. I have never been disappointed by any of the venues in Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise, but I do have three favorites that I would love to share with you.

Silvertip in Canmore

The Silvertip is an excellent choice for couples, whether they are from Calgary or abroad. The property is located on the side of the Bow Valley, and it boasts 600 acres of sunny grasslands, mountains, rivers, and valleys. If you prefer an indoor wedding ceremony, you can take advantage of the banquet room which can accommodate up to 250 guests.

The Fairmont Banff Springs

The Fairmont Banff Springs is a fantastic venue that offers a variety of beautiful spaces for events of any size and style. Whether you're planning a small gathering of 10 people or a grand reception for 900 guests, this venue has got you covered.

Some of the event spaces available include:

• The Cascade Ballroom: Located at the north end of the castle, this ballroom offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Bow Valley from the adjacent conservatory. It features eight stunning chandeliers, beautiful hardwood floors, and decorations of blue, burgundy, and gold that make it the perfect setting for a wedding celebration.

• The Alhambra Ballroom: Once your guests step through the custom cast bronze door, they'll be awestruck by the Spanish Renaissance-styled Alhambra Ballroom. With large windows, high ceilings, and four beautiful chandeliers that cast the perfect radiance, this ballroom is ideal for ceremonies and receptions and can accommodate up to 220 guests.

• Ivor Petrak Room: This intimate space is perfect for hosting beautiful ceremonies and receptions with up to 60 guests. Dance the night away under the central chandelier and enjoy the charming view of the sweeping Bow Valley.

• The Outdoor Terrace: This stunning ceremony venue boasts extensive views of the Bow Valley enclosed by mountains. It can accommodate up to 180 guests and is located close to the wedding reception spaces and hotel amenities.

In addition to these amazing event spaces, there are also the Angus & Strathcona Rooms and Mount Stephen Hall that are available for use.
